yesterday lovely ella aka jools hunter (check out some of her great songs here) was in town and dropped by our office. the plan was to shoot a polaroid pic of her for the upcoming issue of monki magazine. well apparently it's really not very clever of us to still shoot real polaroids, the film seemingly wanted to surprise us with some "special effects" ...

here with schmelmo. you can't tell on this picture but schmelmo wears jools' chain with bird pendant, the bird's name is franz

 at lambretta he dreamed of falling in love with a long-haired boy that would look good in this shirt

at kangaroos he got all hungry

... shortly overcame the feeling when he saw some dead animals on display ...

 but it quickly came back

holy sh**! minus 10 degrees - when (if ever) will it be warm enough to go bare-legged again?

ever since seeing this picture we're wondering if it's time to try some actual heels instead of sticking to our strong belief wedges are the only acceptable "high heel" ...

seeing the new s/s shoes humanic presented this morning we felt THIS would be the perfect one to give it a try this summer! combined with a neat pair of socks of course:
