how silly! just realized what a stupid answer i gave for the "best buy" question in lesmads' 2011 retrospect questionnaire. it was no piece of clothing of course, it was the greatest thing you can buy for money. ever:

so how is hallo doing these days? we wouldn't know, we have real difficulties finding out WHERE hallo is most the time!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE RIGHT MOTTO

we would have loved to record a video message to wish you a great new years eve and an awesome-dude 2012 but after receiving this (personal!) video message from vivienne models we know we couldn't ever be able to do a better job. so we just join their message, because we know about the secret power of the right motto for a new year.

unfortunately this motto is almost impossible to translate for non-germanspeakers, but you can try with "everything i do i do with joy." (well kinda).

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SNOW

white christmas didn't happen in our city, but it's always worth travelling a bit to find a proper weirdowonderland. if you enter it, woolen tights and silly bobble hats are obligatory! beanie and scarf accessorize, knitted jumper and dress vintage, tights hudson, shoes dr.martens ...

 and now? just ruuuuun ...

 until some footprints are all that's left of you

in case you're still stuck with your family and people around you started to get a liiittle annoying, DO escape by looking through old family photographs from the fifties and sixties. once you see how cool and chic they used to be back then you'll start appreciating everyone much more.
