THEY'RE FAMOUS IN AUSTRIA pt.I

like every other country in the world we do have some extremely famous and admirable celebrities that noone outside the austrian border has ever heard of. that does not make them any less important or wonderful. we're happy to have snapped a few of them cuddling with bunny last week at the news.at event.

starting with tv presenter dieter chmelar. actually he is leading a secret life as sarcastic cool bastard behind his facade as an entertainer in shallow afternoon tv shows for bored housewives. you can see that in his eyes!

A CROWD PLEASER?

ok, shoot us for making fun of stuff we get for free but we just can't help feeling weird receiving seethrough granny-style knickers that are surely sent to loooads of other fashion journalists too. now finally we have something to talk about when we all gather for the next press appointment. "so how does your butt look in those cheap monday undies??"

SUMMERY PASTEL COLOUR WEEK, 1.

we dream of only wearing soft ice-cream colours this summer, they just make us happyhappy. for example here in what we consider the perfect hangover attire: something that will make hamster feel like in pyjamas all day. vintage shirt and cycling shorts with flower print by monki.

and we know the shoes are not everyone's cup of tea, but hamster just loves walking down the street feeling like wearing his cosiest slippers. these are by emu australia.

THE FAT FANCLUB'S DELIGHT

best part of the job? the foood, duh!

not only were we invited to join a delicious pressdinner yesterday ...

(including tomato tart a tin ...

 and super soft and veal with asparagus)

... they also made us take home the best gift ever: sacher torte. the original!

 and our culinary journey continued today at la prairie's presentation of new hightech product "cellular power infusion" (the slogan: never look your age again!)

 mini sandwiches and a newly discovered passion, we called the smurf cocktail: coconut, pineapple, no alcohol and god knows what to produce the blue colour ...

MORE MOBY, MORE BERLIN

so this was at "made" art/project space in alexanderstrasse 7 - they were hosting an exhibition of moby's photographies and there even was a great live gig ...

 followed by an energetic instrumental gig by this band, which might go by the name  ....amera?

 later that night we continued the party at soho house's one year birthday bash. unfortunately you're not allowed to take any pictures there so we don't have any of the crowd shaking it off to mtv host palina's supernice dj set....

only souvenir: the soho house rubber duck on the hotel room table. and before leaving the beautiful room looking out of our window...

 we spotted the "alte garnisonsfriedhof". the perfect place to try and sleep away a hangover we can tell you! 

 later that day moby had to rush from our interview to sign his photobook "destroyed" at seven star gallery ...

 some of his photographic work was displayed there as well of course ...
