YESTERDAY: SWEDEN

been in stockholm yesterday, visiting our dear friends, the monkis ... in their office!

such hard working little fellas. we pretended to be planning the upcoming issues of monki magazine with them ...

when all we really did was eating cupcakes of course!

afterwards we did a little shopping and discovered our new favourite vintage store (and we're not only saying that because they gave us beer): flying a vintage, svartensgatan 12

here we see carl, one of the owners, with the vintage jackets they customize with studs themselves.

and they had a look at all the girls introducing us to their best friends.

at their pressday reebok tried really hard to explain all their new hightech-developments - like the shoes and garments toning your body or the clothes using sunlight to activate your inner energy - but we were just too distracted: doesn't the zigtech shoe look like standing on a layer of delicious whipped cream?

and wearing such a neat dress one could even consider doing sports ....

hahaha, yeah we know, that was a good one.

and one thing that reminded edna of her home in sherwood forest: the nike sneaker that looked like made out of cosy moss!

the a/w trend to urgently call your friends and family about: mini pastries. these were vegan and made by nora who used to work in nike pr and now has her own vegan catering (www.facebook.com/frecklesheaven)

if we were karen we might not have opted for "kidneykaren" as nickname. still: a very useful invention. kidney-warming tubes of fabric in all colours to match the too short shirts some ladies tend to wear. granny would have loved the idea.
