there! been talked about smelly things and what did we receive just now? a press mailing by listerine mouthwash, containing two huge bottles of their new products. thanks guys, we get it.
dr.hauschka skin care has been teaming up with berlin-based eco fashion label mikenke for a limited set of hair- and armbands made from salmon (!) leather. 500 pieces - well, 499 apparently now that we received one set - are available at selected department stores from now on. proceeds are being donated to "what moves you".

fish leather!? anastasia beaverhausen already wondered about that seeing the mongrels in common pieces made from "nanai" salmon leather at berlin press days last october ...
may be weird. still slightly better looking than ...
last week we met our friend, dj and coolkid-allrounder, edgar retro at an event and realized: we're not the only ones still wearing crosses not the way intended by god. (sure, might be very last-season of us. but then again, do crosses ever get out of fashion?)
being atheists we luckily need not worry having to go straight to hell because of our blasphemic obsession with wearing religious symbols just because they look so pretty.
(this lovely deer is a perfect necklace rack by the way ...)
below - one of our favourites: pope john paul II.
and just like edgar we buy these things at church flea markets and wear them as jewellery even if they were rather intended to be hung on a wall ... the one below gets pretty heavy after a while - a fair burden for us sinners!
today we want to share one of the most thrilling and breathtaking adventures the wonder pets had to live through. so much to learn from that episode:
1) "wee-weee","pee-peeee", "tinkleee" ... there are so many lovely words to use instead of just vulgarly taking a piss.
2) forget telling kids how to go to toilet, just show them how to go to the "bathroom outside" and use a doggy door ...
3) the most important thing we learnt: celery is great after a good pee. or how ming-ming says: celewee is great after a good pee. (and we are afraid that kiddies everywhere will now be requesting celery from their parents after their good pee.)
oh, and what a nice surprise from our reader mey-jing. we never thought anyone would be bored enough in life to really do our wonder pets handicrafts which we posted on monday. thanks, good work!
onion-like layering and spring weather won't fool you ...
vintage oversized trench for oversized zebra onions
this oversized cardigan is the proof that zebra has absolutely no control over her hugeknit-obsession. instead of selling stuff at sunday's fleamarket she bought stuff. but this belonged to one of the best-dressed and best-looking fashion editors around so zebra guessed it's a good investment.
zebra's family portrait on this very lovely shirt by closed.
and very occasionally zebra also wears non-vintage shoes. (though they might not look like it after excessive use in the steppe). these are by marc o'polo!
finnish label ivana helsinki produced her new lookbook as seperate postcards. yellowish matte paper making the images quite blurry - not exactly perfect for showing clothes ...
but quite cool for the pictures of snowy northern landscapes. must have been the point.

yesterday you already got to know our all-time heroes, the wonder pets: linny the guinea pig, ming-ming the duckling and turtle tuck.
we have to admit, the youngest gang member wearing a leather pilot's helmet, goggles, and a green cape is our darling - ming-ming the overconfident 3 year old duckling and uncrowned wordplay champion. although ming-ming believes that her great-grandfather was a cool eagle (and we believe that too of course!) she gets overexcited quite easily.
(and never ever laugh at ming-ming because of her speech defect! didn't we all pronounce "r" as "w" when we were at that age?)
hahaha, this is hilarious! austrian magazine "style up your life" seems to have bought this streetstyle picture of me (in red checked shirt) and then labelled it with "anja berger provoziert mit ihrem hemd in der wiener innenstadt". for those of you who are not aware of it: i am not anja berger. and that picture was taken during paris fashion week.
love the way they pretend we're their readers sending in those pictures to win some lipstick.
"peter krenn"! or that model shot backstage they call "katja, the fashion student".
this is a riddle: find the mistake in this picture of department store gerngross' new campaign. (they've been renovating the place for ages now to make it all-chic-and-glamourous.)
her with that hot pose, sitting on the floor next to him ... that's ... well, hot.
so - did you find what's wrong? yes, exactly: everything!
congrats to the casting director, the stylist and the graphic designer.
this week we decided it's time to introduce you to our dear friends the wonder pets. to know all about them should be part of a good educational background anyway. may we introduce: linny the guinea pig, ming-ming the duckling and turtle tuck, three cute as well as brave singing classroom pets who travel the world and use teeeeamwork to save baby animals in distress. but one after another. first of all we have to practise the official wonder pets anthem before we are able to help any baby animal in trouble somewhere.
The phone, the phone is riiinging. The phoone, we'll be right there ...
and now take your printer and scissors and help ming-ming, tack and linny to get their equipment and outfits ready for the next great save. (because this is a fashion blog, of course. have you ever been in doubt about it? tss.)
oooh, finally it's out: the pet fanclub's president adam aka daliah spiegel was art director & assistant director & stylist for the new video by francis international airport. starring two of the cutest girls on the planet, our friends katharina and lena.
would have loved to swap at miss sixty yesterday - their fantabulous huge supersoft fake fur coat against my old scruffy trench. strangely they were not so much into this suggestion ...
munich it was yesterday - for their press days. despite the urgent wish to end our lives when the alarm clock went off at 4.30 am (may those who invented flights at 6.30 in the morning go straight to hell) there was a lot to be discovered for the little giraffe!
press presentation/event season is keeping us quite busy these days... so what have our pets been up to lately?
